Facial Aging

As the face ages, one commonly loses about a teaspoon of subcutaneous tissue each year after 40. This equates to about five one-cc syringes of filler agents. Gravity also begins to pull remaining structures downward, causing a loss of tissue in the cheek areas and hollowing in the temples and under the eyes. Wrinkles appear in areas of repetitive muscular activity, excessive sun damage, and tissue loss. These can be improved three dimensionally by injecting natural filler agents to replace the lost volume. These are used to sculpt a more youthful, rested facial appearance. Combining this with the  judicious use of Botox, a procedure known as a liquid face lift, photorejuvenation, and appropriate medical grade skin care products, can roll back the years in your visual appearance.
